From the M6

Come off the A66 (first exit for Keswick) and head in to Keswick town centre. You'll pass a garage on the left (BP), then the postal depot, then an ambulance depot. Continue for another 250 metres and there is a left turn just before the pedestrian crossing. Turn left here and then immediately left on to Southey Street.

Head along Southey Street and take the 3rd left (Helvellyn Street).

Take the 1st right (Leonard Street) and we are the 3rd property on the right. If there is no parking available on the road then there is the drive to the right of the property that can be used for loading and unloading or parking.

Parking - You are more than welcome to use the drive for parking (there is room for 2 cars). However, we ask that you park as close to our property as possible as there is pedestrian access for some local residents along our drive (N.B. - People need to be able to pass to the right of your car with prams or mountain bikes). Also - please don't block the gate. There is room for 2 cars (one in front of the other), but if 2 vehicles are parked then the 1st will be blocked in by the 2nd. If you don't envisage using your vehicle during your stay then this is not a problem - but if you want to go for a drive then you'll need to mention this to other guests at breakfast so that cars can be moved as appropriate.

From the Western Lakes (Cockermouth, Whitehaven etc)

Head along the A66 to Keswick. Take the first turn off and head in to the town centre. Go straight across the mini roundabout (there’s a co-op on your left) and follow the road ahead. You’ll go through the pedestrian crossing and the road goes round to the left. Keep going and follow the road round to the right (big car park on your right) and you’ll then go up a slight hill with another pedestrian crossing at the top .

Turn right here and immediately turn left on to Southey Street. Head along Southey Street and take the 3rd left (Helvellyn Street).

Take the 1st right (Leonard Street) and we are the 3rd property on the right. If there is no parking available on the road then there is the drive to the right of the property that can be used for loading and unloading or parking.

From Ambleside

Follow the A591 through the Central Lakes and eventually you will come to the outskirts of Keswick. You'll pass the garage (BP), the postal depot and the ambulance depot. From here follow the instructions as if you were coming from the M6 (see above).
